The Boltax III is identical to the Boltax II except now in chrome. Like the II, a hot shoe was incorporated for an accessory reflex finder and a click spring was added inside the camera to control the advance of perforated film. A clicking noise sounds at each perforation to enable the user to count the amount of perforations advanced. Shutter has Boltax III engraved on the face and the lens is still a Picner Anastigmat 40mm f4.5. Transitional cameras used some nickel plated parts from the Boltax II.
