The two Krauss brothers began business as a camera store in 1895 in Stuttgart, Germany.  Eugen (E.) Krauss moved to Paris, France and began supplying lenses for cameras made by others but with his name on them as well as manufacturing his own cameras.  Gustav Adolf (G.A.) Krauss began making cameras in Stuttgart in 1920. Some extremely innovative and exceptionally well made cameras were produced by both brothers.  Production of cameras (for both brothers) ended in the mid 1930's.
