Casca I | Casca II |
Name derived from Carl August von Steinheil CAmera. Steinheil was a well known lens manufacturer in Munich, Germany . A pair of die-cast bodied 35mm cameras were briefly produced; The Casca I was a viewfinder model and the Casca II a coupled rangefinder version. Both had special bayonet lens mounts but they were separate and distinct from each other and were not compatible between models. Only a few hundred were made between 1948 and 1949. |
